Personal Life

'Shadi Vahidi' is an Iranian musician,composer, arranger ,vocalist, Radif-teacher(Iranian classical music),Musemuscle Method instructor , music teacher, and Tar&Setar instrumentalist and improviser and Orff teacher .

Work Biography

Shadi Vahidi began learning to play the piano under her father's guidance since childhood. During her teenage years, she expanded her musical education by learning the Setar and Tar under the supervision of Manouchehr Abdollahi and Kamal Rezaie. Subsequently, she studied the Radif of Mirza Abdollah with Azar Zargarian at the University of Arts. Concurrently, she delved into solfeggio and acquired knowledge of Avaz techniques and voice production. Moreover, she mastered Persian traditional vocal Avaz. Later, she dedicated ten years to studying the Radif of Mirza Hossein-Qoli and Ali-Akbar Shahnazi, as well as Iranian composition forms under the guidance of Dariush Pirniakan. Following that, she joined classes conducted by the esteemed maestro Mohammad-Reza Lotfi. Simultaneously, she participated in the Shayda Ensemble, also under the supervision of maestro Lotfi.

During her career, Shadi has collaborated with various ensembles. One of her most significant works is the studio album titled "Instant of Love" (2009), which was released in Iran. This album is based on the lyrics of Saadi Shirazi and showcases Shadi's talents as a singer, composer, and instrumentalist, playing both Tar and Setar. In 2015, Shadi emigrated to Armenia, where she engaged in several collaborations and performances with esteemed Armenian artists like Levon Tevanyan, Vardan Baghdasaryan, Karen Avajyan, and Georgi Minasov. Together, they have created numerous songs that blend Armenian and Iranian musical influences. Additionally, Shadi is an accomplished Orff teacher and has authored a children's book titled "The Songs of Animals." This book features nursery rhymes with accompanying music sheet , adding an educational dimension to her artistic endeavors.
